Today in Ukraine was marked by the elimination of the consequences of another massive enemy air attack, heavy fighting along the entire front line and the intensification of international cooperation in the field of security. On the night of July 25, air defense forces neutralized most of the air targets, but in several regions, hits on civilian and logistical infrastructure were recorded. As reported by the information portal 34.ua , the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to restrain the onslaught of the occupation troops and inflict significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment.

News 1: Repelling a massive air attack: 128 targets shot down

On the night of July 25, Russian forces launched a combined strike on the territory of Ukraine, using 157 strike UAVs of various types and two Kh-59/69 guided aircraft missiles. According to the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, air defense units and mobile fire groups destroyed or suppressed 127 drones and one missile in the north, south, east and center of the country. Hits and falling debris were recorded at several locations in Sumy, Zaporizhia, Poltava and Dnipropetrovsk regions, where civilian infrastructure and the residential sector were damaged.

Expert opinion (Military observer and security instructor Serhiy Zgurets): “The use of a large number of drones in combination with missiles is an attempt to detect air defense positions and exhaust the resources of our air defense. The high percentage of downings shows the increasing effectiveness of electronic warfare and mobile fire groups, but the protection of critical facilities needs further strengthening.”

News 2: Situation on the front line: over 230 clashes per day

The situation on the front line remains tense. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 230 clashes have occurred over the past 24 hours. The most intense fighting continues in the Pokrovsky, Lymansky, Sloviansky and Kostyantynivsky directions. Ukrainian defenders are holding their positions steadfastly, repelling numerous assaults by enemy infantry and armored vehicles. Over the course of the day, the invaders lost more than 1,400 personnel, as well as dozens of destroyed artillery and automotive equipment.

Expert opinion (Military tactical analyst Valeriy Koval): “The enemy is trying to put pressure on several directions at the same time, using its advantage in artillery and aerial bombs. However, the flexible defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the effective use of Ukrainian FPV drones allow us to stop the enemy’s advance and destroy its reserves on the approaches.”

News 3: Strengthening defense cooperation and humanitarian assistance

Ukraine continues to expand defense and economic cooperation with international partners. During regular consultations with European allies, additional supplies of air defense systems, shells, and the development of joint defense enterprises were discussed. In addition, large-scale programs to support internally displaced persons, expand the shelter network, and prepare energy infrastructure for the upcoming autumn-winter period are ongoing in the regions of Ukraine.

Expert opinion (International Security and Politics Analyst Dmytro Snegirev): “Systematic support from partners in the supply of ammunition and air defense means is the foundation of our stability. In parallel, internal preparation of the energy and housing and utilities sectors for winter is a strategic task to ensure the stability of the rear.”

ANALYTICS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CITIZENS

The security situation requires all residents of Ukraine to be highly organized and adhere to basic security rules.

Important instructions for citizens:

Rules during an air alert: upon receiving a signal of a threat from a UAV or ballistics, immediately head for cover or use the “two walls” rule.

Information silence: do not publish footage of air defense operations, hit locations, or military equipment movements on social media. Trust only official sources (the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the State Emergency Service).

Prepare for emergencies: keep power banks charged, have a supply of drinking and industrial water, and check the contents of your home first aid kit.
