Today has become another test of strength for Ukraine, confirming that the state is forced to balance every day between the tough security challenges of martial law and the need to preserve its high economic, infrastructural and international potential. Despite the continuous pressure of the enemy along the entire front line, the threat of air attacks and complex internal social processes, Ukraine demonstrates the stability of state institutions and the steady work of critical life support links. The country continues to maintain its defense and production positions, adapting to crisis conditions and implementing key reforms. On the night of July 20, Russian occupation forces carried out another combined air attack on Ukrainian energy and civil infrastructure facilities using Shahed strike UAVs and air- and land-based missiles. Today, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted an expanded package of decisions aimed at direct support and preferential lending to domestic enterprises of the defense-industrial complex. The Security Service of Ukraine, together with the State Bureau of Investigation, reported the exposure of a large-scale corruption scheme during fuel purchases for the needs of municipal and transport enterprises in several regions of Ukraine. According to the investigation, a group of officials, in collusion with private suppliers, organized a systematic artificial inflating of prices and embezzlement of budget funds in particularly large amounts. Based on the collected evidence, all those involved were declared suspicious, and their property was seized.
