Today, July 10, 2026, Ukraine is experiencing the 1598th day since the start of the full-scale invasion. The morning brought news of another night of shelling, as well as successful strikes on the logistics of the Russian occupiers in Crimea and other temporarily occupied territories. As reported by the information portal 34.ua , the situation on the front remains tense, but the defense forces are confidently holding their positions and inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
Security and shelling: Night raid of 137 drones
On the night of July 10, Russian troops carried out another massive attack on the territory of Ukraine, launching a record number of UAVs of various types — 137 strike drones (including the Shahed, Gerber, Italmas jets, and Parody simulator drones).
Thanks to the coordinated work of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and mobile fire groups:
114 enemy targets were destroyed in various regions of the country.
The enemy launched drones from the directions of Orel, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and temporarily occupied Donetsk.
Front and enemy losses: Over 280 clashes per day
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 283 combat clashes were recorded on the contact line over the past 24 hours . The hottest areas remain Kostyantynivskyi (33 attacks repelled) and Slovianskyi (30 enemy assault actions).
The occupiers’ losses per day are extremely significant:
Personnel: ~1,460 military personnel.
Equipment: over 50 artillery systems and two air defense systems were destroyed.
The total estimated losses of Russian manpower since the beginning of the Great War have exceeded 1,416,000 people.
Cotton in the rear: Explosions at the Ilya Refinery and in occupied cities
This night turned out to be extremely “hot” for facilities in the territory of the Russian Federation and in the occupied regions:
Ilsky Oil Refinery (Krasnodar Krai): The plant came under attack by drones. Local residents reported a series of powerful explosions and a fire.
Temporarily occupied territories: there was a lot of noise in Kerch, Mariupol, Melitopol, and Luhansk. In particular, in Luhansk, a probable hit was recorded on a railway junction that the enemy uses to transfer equipment.
International arena: Rockets from the Netherlands and a parade in Paris
Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen said in an interview today that his country has transferred to Ukraine all possible supplies of Patriot missiles from its own warehouses. Now Amsterdam, together with Kyiv, is negotiating with other partners to encourage them to do more for Ukrainian skies.
At the same time, it became known that Ukrainian soldiers will take part in a prestigious military parade in Paris, which will take place on July 14 (Bastille Day), to which President Volodymyr Zelensky has been officially invited.
